Story का Basic Premise
Mrs. Deshpande Season 1 के trailer में ही यह सब clear हो जाता है। नहीं भाई, मैंने कोई spoiler नहीं दिया है। यह सब आप trailer में ही देख सकते हो। लेकिन क्या यह इतनी fascinating लगने वाली story सच में आपका watch time deserve करती है? चलो बताता हूं।

Mrs. Deshpande Season 1 में है total छह episodes approximately 50 minutes each। And मैंने इस series को देखना भी इसलिए start किया क्योंकि यार Madhuri Dixit है इसमें। And to be very honest अगर इसमें Madhuri ji को निकाल दो ना, तो makers के पास इस series को बेचने का एक भी reason नहीं होगा। Yes it’s a fact।
French Series का Remake
Mrs. Deshpande Season 1 जबकि यह series remake है La Mante नाम के एक French thriller series की जो 2017 में release हुई थी यानी कि 8 साल पहले। तो तब शायद इस type के presentation में दम होगा। लेकिन considering कि हम 2025 में इसको देख रहे हैं, तो थोड़े changes तो यार expect कर सकते थे हम। Again considering the time gap and the taste of today’s audience।
Surprise Element की Kami
Mrs. Deshpande Season 1 में भाई इसमें तो पहला surprise यह आता है third episode के end में। And उतना काफी नहीं है इस series को बचाने के लिए। Background music तो ना के बराबर ही है जो important होता है किसी भी scene को elevate करने के लिए।
90s का Drama Feel
Mrs. Deshpande Season 1 का presentation ऐसा कि मानो आप कोई 90s का drama देख रहे हो बहुत ही basic जिसमें बड़ा ही artificial सा setup है। Setup माने rawness in the investigation या जो भी makers दिखाना चाहते हैं कि how they are forming a team and doing discussion in planning to trap the criminal। यह सब कुछ बहुत artificial सा लग रहा था।
Stage Show जैसा Feel
Mrs. Deshpande Season 1 में मानो जैसे ही कोई stage show चल रहा हो and all are planned for camera and audience ताकि सामने वाले को यानी audience को situation spoon feed की जा सके जबकि acting से या storytelling के इस setup को natural बना सकते थे ताकि we feel कि सब real है which is nowadays USP of every other crime thriller series बट यहां too much artificial यार बहुत basic सा presentation।
Unnecessary Elements
Mrs. Deshpande Season 1 में unnecessary kissing and bed scenes, फालतू की गालियां – it’s a hit and miss chance for makers। कहानी अच्छी अच्छी थी बट presentation में मात खा गई।
Madhuri Dixit का Wasted Talent
Mrs. Deshpande Season 1 ने Madhuri Dixit जैसे brilliant actor से mediocre काम करवा दिया इस series ने। जिसकी वजह से बाकी सभी ने भी उनके सामने mediocre performance ही दिया है। And that’s the reason story line अच्छी होने के बावजूद यह series भी mediocre बनके ही रह गई।
Suspense और Thriller की Kami
Mrs. Deshpande Season 1 में ना suspense build up, ना thriller experience, ना कोई tension बढ़ाने वाला scene, ना murderer से डर लग रहा है। भाई, मैं तो fourth episode में समझ गया था कि killer कौन है। Had भाई। क्या ही बोलूं मैं?
Expectations पर खरी नहीं उतरी
Mrs. Deshpande Season 1 बिल्कुल भी उम्मीदों पे खरी नहीं उतरती है यह series। इतना lack of conviction है कि first episode से लेके last episode तक कई सारी कमियां तो आप खुद ही निकाल लोगे। And मुझे तो लगता है कि आप last episode तक जाओगे ही नहीं।
Final Rating
Mrs. Deshpande Season 1 overall देखते हुए मेरी तरफ से इस series को only two stars। वो भी इसलिए क्योंकि Madhuri Dixit नहीं तो वह भी नहीं मिलता इसे।
Final Thoughts
Mrs. Deshpande Season 1 को conclude करते हुए कह सकते हैं कि यह एक wasted opportunity है। Madhuri Dixit जैसी legendary actress, interesting premise, French thriller का remake – सब कुछ था इस series के पास। लेकिन outdated presentation, artificial setup, lack of suspense, और mediocre execution ने Mrs. Deshpande Season 1 को एक forgettable series बना दिया।
